About Geriatric Medicine

As we age, chronic disease and its symptoms tend to become more complex and may begin to affect everyday life.

At Lee Health, our doctors and care team understand that it is important to not only treat symptoms of chronic disease but to also work with our patients to prevent these symptoms from occurring. This approach has given our physicians a unique ability to focus on promoting healthy aging for all patients.

The Geriatrics Service at Lee Health provides older adults with the resources they need to live a long and healthy life. We also help to coordinate your care across the hospital – creating a “medical home” where all of your treatments are integrated.
