Lisa Sgarlata, a member of the Hospital Executive Group, is the Chief Patient Care Officer/Chief Nurse Executive for Lee Health.
Lisa’s responsibilities are leading the continuum wide patient care strategies, designing and implementing models of care across the continuum. Working in direct partnership with the Chief Medical and Clinical Integration Officer, directs and coordinates strategic planning processes to develop, implement and evaluate system functions.
Lisa has 25 years of experience in various areas of health care. She has an extensive background in forensic and emergency nursing, and has served as Executive Director for Emergency Services, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Administrative Officer for Lee Health. She is a Fellow with Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellow, Wharton Nurse Executives and American College of Healthcare Executives.
Lisa is a Pennsylvania native who received her Associate in Nursing and Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Administration from Gwynedd Mercy College; a Master of Science in Forensic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Medicine; a Master of Science in Nursing, Leadership and Management; and a Doctoral of Nursing Practice from Johns Hopkins University.
