As a Pediatric Infectious Diseases specialist, Dr. Stovall treats newborns, children, adolescents, and young adults with acquired or congenital disorders of the immune system.

Dr. Stovall manages a variety of acute and chronic infectious diseases, including Asplenia associated infections, Atypical mycobacterial diseases (scrofula), infectious diseases, including HIV infection and AIDS, pnuemonia, fever, infections in immunocompromised children, infectious mononucleosis and other EBV infections, respiratory infections (including influenza), sinusitis, viral infections, ear infection (otitis media), meningitis, sepsis in the newborn infant, travel medicine and parasites, tuberculosis, vaccines, and infection control.

Education & Training

Dr. Stovall is a medical graduate from University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock (1998). She completed a pediatric residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Arkansas Children's Hospital, Little Rock. Dr. Stovall has completed a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Tennessee, Memphis.

Dr. Stovall is Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases.

Professional Experience

Dr. Stovall served as an instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. She later became assistant professor at the same institution, staying in that position until relocating to southwest Florida.

Prior to moving to Fort Myers, Dr. Stovall served as Medical Director of the Clinical Microbiology and Virology Laboatory at Arkansas Children's Hospital. She also served as co-director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Team at Arkansas Children's Hospital.
