Physician Leadership Development Program to begin in September

If you have been considering a leadership role in health care - whether in private practice or with Lee Health - this program offers the academic and practical preparation you need. The 18-month program, jointly presented by the American Association for Physician Leadership® (AAPL®), begins in September and will be limited to 40 physician participants. Completion of the program provides:

  • 104.5 CMEs
  • Eligibility for Certified Physician Executive® (CPE®) designation (with additional requirements)
  • Credits toward Master's degree*

Physicians completing the program will be invited to participate in designated committees, workgroups, physician meetings or interdisciplinary projects to share expertise and best practices learned through this special development program.

*Credits can be applied toward an MBA at multiple universities, including Carnegie-Mellon University and University of Massachusetts.
