Registration Now Open for Second Annual Inspiring Health 5K Run & 1-Mile Fun Walk

Proceeds Support Healthy Lifestyle Programs, Services and Events

(Fort Myers, Fla. – Aug. 22, 2017) --- Get inspired and race your way to a healthier lifestyle by participating in Lee Health’s Inspiring Health 5K Run & 1-Mile Fun Walk on Saturday, Sept. 30, at 8 a.m. at Coconut Point mall in Estero. Entry fees for the event are $30 per person. Your participation supports the programs, services and events provided at the Healthy Life Center, which promote healthy lifestyles, early detection of disease and chronic disease management. Funds also benefit Shipley Cardiothoracic Center, which includes a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and allied professionals in the specialty area of cardiothoracic surgery. Together this team provides an advanced level of comprehensive and coordinated care with the goal of improving outcomes through an in-depth understanding of individual patients’ risk factors, co-morbidities and personal health needs. Shipley Cardiothoracic Center is an innovation hub focused on patient care optimization, and research and learning opportunities for surgical teams worldwide.
