Pi Kappa Alpha Announces Give Back Event Series
(FORT MYERS, Fla. – Feb. 3, 2017) --- The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) will be holding a series of events throughout the spring 2017 season, all aimed to give back and raise funds for local beneficiaries - Lee Memorial Trauma Center, San Carlos Park Fire Department, and The Brotherhood Ride, an organization that aids and relieves families of fallen or wounded police officers and firefighters.
The philanthropic event series, named “The Pike Fireman’s Challenge”, kicks off on February 21st and runs through the 24th. Fundraising activities include:
The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at FGCU was established in 2006 and was chartered with good intentions to better the community. They conduct multiple philanthropy events throughout the year. “These heroes of our local community deserve recognition for their amazing work and here at Pi Kappa Alpha we want to make sure that we continue to be one of their largest supporters,” says Nick Anderson, Pi Kappa Alpha Philanthropy Director.
