Feb. 12 Fashion Show to Benefit
Pediatric Behavioral Health Initiative
Lee Memorial and Dillard’s Partner in Fundraiser for Golisano Children’s Hospital
(Fort Myers, Fla. – Jan. 11, 2018) --- The Lee Memorial Auxiliary and Dillard’s are partnering to present “Fashions of Spring – Funding for Kids,” a fashion show fundraiser to support the Pediatric Behavioral Health Initiative at Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida.
Set for Feb. 12 at Lexington Country Club, 16257 Willowcrest Way in Fort Myers, the event features a luncheon, silent auction and door prizes, in addition to the fashion show. Doors open at 11 a.m., lunch is served at 11:45 a.m. and the fashion show, styled by Dillard’s and modeled by Lee Health leaders, starts at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased by calling 239-343-2234 or by visiting www.LeeHealth.org/classes.asp and clicking on Auxiliary.
The Golisano Children’s Hospital Pediatric Behavioral Health Initiative will assist children with mental health and behavioral disorders and enable them to receive the proper diagnosis, the right treatment, and the best community resources to live successful and productive lives. An estimated 46,000 children in Southwest Florida currently have or have had a seriously debilitating mental health disorder.
The Lee Memorial Auxiliary has already committed $375,000 to this initiative and $600,000 to the Golisano Children’s Hospital’s capital campaign.

Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida is the only acute care children’s hospital between Tampa and Miami. Part of Lee Health, the children’s hospital opened in 1994 within HealthPark Medical Center. In 2012, the hospital was renamed Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida after B.
