New Whole Healthy Lifestyle Program Starts Jan. 22; Healthy Habits Discussion Set for Jan. 25

8-Week Lifestyle Program Launching at the Healthy Life Center in Estero and Wellness Center – Cape Coral

(Fort Myers, Fla. – Jan. 10, 2018) --- Lee Health’s Wellness Center – Cape Coral (609 SE 13th Ct.) is launching a new Whole Healthy Lifestyle program. This 8-week program is meant to help people create healthy habits, set and achieve attainable goals, while increasing energy and self-confidence. It will be offered at both the Wellness Center – Cape Coral and the Healthy Life Center at Coconut Point (23190 Fashion Dr., Suite 105, Estero).

The program will meet on Mondays at 1 p.m., beginning Jan. 22 at the Healthy Life Center in Estero and Thursdays at 9 a.m., beginning Feb. 1 at the Wellness Center – Cape Coral. The program includes:

  • Exercise
    • 4-6 sessions
    • 30-minutes of exercise
    • 30-minute breakout session
  • Nutrition
    • Two, one-hour breakout sessions
  • Lifestyle Coaching
    • Goal setting
    • Accountability
    • Guidance
    • Email and phone access to coach
  • Pre- and post-Tanita scale readings
    • Weight
    • Body fat percentage
    • Muscle mass

    On Jan. 25, 9-10 a.m. at the Wellness Center – Cape Coral, Sarah Mitchell, certified wellness coach and health and wellness coordinator for the Lee Health Wellness Centers, will be leading a discussion on healthy habits. Mitchell will share information and tips about consistency, flexibility and goal setting.
