Lee Health Hospitals Named Among Nation’s Top 50 Heart Hospitals
IBM Watson Health Includes Lee Memorial Hospital, HealthPark Medical Center on List of 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals
(Fort Myers, Fla. – Nov. 22, 2017) --- Lee Health’s Lee Memorial Hospital and HealthPark Medical Center are ranked in IBM Watson Health’s 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals for 2018. The 50 top-performing hospitals are broken down by category, including Teaching Hospitals with Cardiovascular Residency Programs, Teaching Hospitals without Cardiovascular Residency Programs and Community Hospitals. Lee Memorial Hospital and HealthPark Medical Center are included on the Teaching Hospitals without Cardiovascular Residency Program list, and have been included on the list for six years.
The rankings are determined by reviewing aggregate performance measures in the following areas:
- Clinical outcome measures
- Clinical process measures
- Extended outcome measures
- Efficiency measures
- Extended efficiency measures
