‘Eat Like a Texas Firefighter and Transform Your Health!’

(Fort Myers, Fla. – Oct. 4, 2017) --- As part of their National Speakers’ Series, Lee Health is pleased to announce that the next presenter in the series will be Rip Esselstyn who developed the Engine 2 diet to provide optimal health and disease prevention with the added benefit of weight loss. Learn about the seven pillars of The Engine 2 Seven-Day Rescue Diet and how to implement them for big results.

Rip was a three-time All-American swimmer at the University of Texas at Austin and spent a decade as a world-class triathlete. He introduced his passion for a whole-food, plant-based diet to Austin’s Engine 2 Firehouse to rescue a firefighting brother’s health. His New York Times bestselling book, The Engine 2 Diet, documents his success and shows the irrefutable connection between a plant-based diet and good health. His latest book, The Engine 2 Seven-Day Rescue Diet, was released in late 2016.

The free talk is open to the public and will be held on Monday, Nov. 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church, 2061 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers.
