Special Recognition:

  • First hospital in the state to achieve the 4 Star Award of “Florida Quest for Quality Maternity Care Award” Baby Steps to a Baby-Friendly Hospital.
  • First hospital in the U.S. to implement Veterans Visitation Program with American Red Cross.

Gulf Coast Medical Center

  • Gulf Coast Medical Center is a Level II Trauma Center serving Lee County and the surrounding areas, houses the Neuroscience Institute, orthopedic and oncology services, an accredited comprehensive stroke center, colorectal, vascular and general surgery. The hospital offers 24/7 access to emergency care and minimally invasive catheter procedures to treat stroke and a has recently underwent a new expansion that features a floor dedicated to inpatient cancer care.
  • Expansion:
    • Added three stories and 216 patient beds.
      • Expansion was opened two months ahead of schedule to help Lee Health meet the needs of our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
      • A new north tower with 54 ICU beds will be opening in 2021.
    • Convenient parking, expanded radiology department, pharmacy and laboratory.
    • Regional Cancer Center – dedicated floor giving patients and families access to treatment options in one place, with amenities designed for maximum comfort, and the latest technology.

HealthPark Medical Center

  • HealthPark Medical Center provides a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, from cardiology (heart health) and OB/GYN (women's health), to rehab and radiology. HealthPark Medical Center also includes a full-service emergency care center (ER), open 24/7. The primary location for Lee Health's cardiac program and a designated Chest Pain Center

Lee Memorial Hospital

  • Lee Memorial has a 24/7 ER with exceptionally trained staff, and houses the Rehabilitation Hospital. A mainstay in our community for more than 100 years, Lee Memorial has a rich history of serving our communities.
