Lee Health Coconut Point Celebrates 5 Years

This December marks the fifth anniversary of the opening of Lee Health Coconut Point. Located near Coconut Road and US 41, this facility established a new model of care for Lee Health. A modern health and wellness destination, Lee Health Coconut Point offers a multitude of services under one roof, including an emergency department, lab, pharmacy, diagnostics, outpatient surgery, Lee Physician Group offices, the Healthy Life Center, rehabilitation services and more.

Lee Health Coconut Point was established to support the growing healthcare needs in South Lee County. Today, five years later, when we look at how much we have expanded care year-over-year, I can confidently say we are meeting that goal. Over the past five years, our teams at Lee Health Coconut Point have:

• Filled 183,057 retail pharmacy doses.
• Managed 90,884 emergency department visits.
• Completed 806,486 lab tests, 76,301 radiology diagnostic procedures and 16,590 cases at the surgery center.
• Hosted 1,689 classes at the Healthy Life Center with 16,106 participants.

To celebrate these accomplishments and so much more, the Lee Health Coconut Point team is hosting an event from 5-6:30 p.m., Nov. 30, to commemorate five years of outstanding patient care and growth in the Estero and Bonita Springs communities.
