Each of Lee Health’s Skilled Nursing Facilities Earn Five Stars from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
(Fort Myers, Fla. – Sept. 17, 2021) --- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released their most recent Five-Star Quality Ratings, awarding Gulf Coast Medical Center Skilled Nursing, HealthPark Care & Rehabilitation Center and Lee Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing with five stars.
CMS created the five-star system – the gold standard in quality and safety rankings – to help consumers, their families and caregivers compare health care facilities. CMS ranks facilities from one to five stars.
The Gulf Coast Medical Center Skilled Nursing Unit, HealthPark Care & Rehabilitation Center and Lee Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit each received top scores in ‘Overall Quality’ in the five-star ratings report from CMS.
The Gulf Coast Medical Center Skilled Nursing Unit and Lee Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit also received five stars across the board in all categories (Health Inspection, Quality Measures, Staffing and RN Staffing).

The scores awarded by CMS are based on previously reported quality and safety data points including, patient satisfaction, value and outcomes, among others.
