Experienced Leader Will Play Pivotal Role in Future Growth and Performance
FORT MYERS, Fla. (Oct. 26, 2020) --- Lisa Martinez has joined Lee Health as its Vice President of Strategy and Innovation. In this newly created role, she will lead the health system’s strategic planning process focusing on proactively identifying and analyzing industry trends and business models that positively impact patient health and health care delivery; develop strategies to improve patient experience while reducing total cost of care; and define business models and transformative payer strategies that align human, financial and technology resources that influences innovation investments and ensures business agility.

Martinez spent 20 years at AARP where she most recently served as Vice President of Business Optimization. While at AARP, she was a consistent driver of growth for the organization, and managed a portfolio of more than 15 health care products designed for senior citizens around the country. She was instrumental in leading the organizations Baldrige Performance Excellence journey, including designing training for more than 100 executives on the Baldrige Framework and serving as a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Examiner.
Martinez earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Brown University and an MBA from Clark University. She is also a graduate of the Executive Leadership Program at Georgetown University and is certified as a Lean Six Sigma Champion.
