Many patients are concerned about the cost of health care services and it is Lee Health’s intent to make information about our charges available.
Our goal is to help patients understand their health insurance coverage and what might be owed for services we provide.
While the cost to treat your unique case or condition may vary slightly, we post our system's average charges for the most common inpatient and outpatient procedures, as well as common laboratory, diagnostic tests and other charges. Click on the type of charge you are interested in to see the average charge, and discounts that might be available to you. Remember that your physician's orders could impact the cost for services you receive.
Lee Health does not receive financial support from taxes. We depend on payments from insurers and patients to keep our hospitals running and continue to provide high quality health care in our region. Click here for a breakdown of what Lee Health pays for with the money we receive for services.
Lee Health recognizes the importance of patients’ access to information and is committed to helping patients better anticipate out-of-pocket costs for a specific service or course of treatment. The links below can provide further guidance on our charges which complies with Affordable Care Act Section 2718(e) of the Public Health Service Act. The law requires that each hospital operating within the United States, for each year, establish and make public a list of the hospital’s standard charges for items and services provided by the hospital. Lee Health’s Charge Description Master, also known as CDM, contains the prices of all services, goods and procedures for which a separate charge exists.
Important note: The list of charges on the CDM is not an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs for services at Lee Health. Your out-of-pocket costs will depend upon actual services that you receive; and any insurance coverage you may have.
