Do You Have Full Health Insurance Coverage?

Plan to Avoid Out-of-Network Costs

We understand that insurance is complicated and navigating the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace Exchange can be confusing. Did you know that some national health insurance plans won’t deliver the coverage you expect and deserve?

Ensure Coverage Where You Need It Most

Open Enrollment Ends January 15, 2024

Not all national insurance plans cover primary, preventive and hospital care at Lee Health. In fact, several currently exclude Lee Health as a participating provider. Without full coverage for the medical care provided by trusted doctors across our entire network of services, your healthcare costs will increase.

That is why it’s important to choose a plan that will get you comprehensive coverage before the open enrollment period ends on January 15. Should you need care in the future, we want to make sure you are covered at all our locations.

Exploring ACA Marketplace Exchange Plans

Shopping on the ACA Marketplace Exchange for health insurance? Many providers, like Florida Blue, do offer insurance plans that provide comprehensive coverage for primary, preventive and hospital care at Lee Health. This supports both your needs and our local healthcare community.

Additional Participating Insurance Plans

There are many health insurance plans available outside of the ACA Marketplace Exchange that offer varying levels of coverage. Lee Health accepts all forms of United States, Canadian and other foreign government insurance. We also accept Medicare, Medicaid, Champus, workers’ compensation and all forms of commercial insurance.

It is important to note that not all healthcare practitioners who provide services in Lee Health’s hospitals may participate with the same health insurers or health maintenance organizations we do. Be sure to contact your healthcare practitioners directly to confirm which health insurers and health maintenance organizations they participate with as a network or preferred provider.

Contracted Health Insurance Plans

All Lee Health hospitals are contracted with the following list of health plans, although we may not be a network provider for all products offered by a health plan. This list is subject to change at any time.

*Lee Physician Group does not participate with:
Aetna Affordable Care Act Marketplace Exchange Plan

**Lee Health does not participate with:
UnitedHealthcare’s Affordable Care Act Marketplace Exchange Plan
