Biography
Dr. Andrew Van Sickler is a Vascular Surgeon at Lee Health who brings deep local roots and a passion for patient-centered care to his practice. A Fort Myers native, he was inspired to pursue medicine by his father, a longtime nephrologist in the area, and further shaped by the guidance of mentors throughout medical school and residency. Dr. Van Sickler chose vascular surgery for its unique combination of long-term patient relationships, chronic disease management, and the opportunity to employ advanced, minimally invasive technologies to improve outcomes. He earned his medical degree from Florida State University College of Medicine in Tallahassee, completed his residency at Prisma Health–Midlands/University of South Carolina, and pursued fellowship training in Vascular Surgery at the renowned Cleveland Clinic. Board-certified by the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Van Sickler is dedicated to delivering compassionate, cutting-edge care to the community he calls home.
