Hello, I'm Austin Ysidro. I'm a physician assistant. I'm from Williamsburg, Kentucky originally. I started in May 2024. I chose Lee Health because I found a great community around the area and it was a good hospital system that was really fighting for the community is what I found. I chose cardiothoracic surgery because I always had an interest in what happened in open heart surgery even when I was younger. The complexity of the cases and the patient care required after was very in-depth and for me that was something I was really interested in getting to know more about and being involved with. I like to hang out with my dogs and I like to go hiking a lot, travel as much as I can, enjoy the outdoors.
