Biography

Brett Giblin, MD, is passionate about providing urologic care to all adults in the community.  Urologic problems are life-impacting problems that can significantly improve quality of life with proper diagnosis and treatment.  He particularly enjoys helping those suffering from issues that hurt quality of life -- including voiding dysfunction, recurrent infections, sexual health and stone disease.  Finding solutions that work for his patients and fit into their lifestyles and goals gives him the most satisfaction.

    I told my husband as soon as I came out that I really liked Dr Giblin. I've had poor experiences with different urology providers in the past. As this was my initial visit with Dr Giblin, I found him to be very caring and actually listened to my concerns. I fe lt like we had a 2 way conversation as opposed to a doctor that barks instructions from a screen, while looking at a tablet or screen

    The two nurses that worked with doctor Giblin were excellent, great easy-going personalities that put me at ease. Doctor Giblin gave me thorough explanations and all the time I needed to review everything. Very unusual for doctors today. I really appreciated h is taking the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer my questions

    Dr Giblin was friendly and patiently took the time to explain my situation and what corrective options were available. I was encouraged to ask questions which he in turn took the time to answer and address any concerns I had. Overall, it was good first visit a s you never know who or what you are going to get when meeting someone new.

    Dr. Giblin is not my regular urologist, but the practice was kind and efficient enough to schedule me in shortly after my GP sent a referral which refle concern over earlier ultrasound results.. The practice support staff called me shortly after the referral f rom my GP and not only helped coordinate the appointment within a week of the referral with Dr. Giblin, but also the [ ] prior to the visit. Dr. Giblin was very empathetic in relaying my current condition based on imaging and he involved me in determining the next steps. He took the time to go over my latest imaging as well as showing me my image from 9 years prior, in order to help make a medical decision. There are many moving parts to my health and conditions, and he addressed each issue as it pertained and could interact with my [ ]. He is now consulting with my regular urologist, Dr. [ ] to decide the best course of treatmenr moving forward. He did this all with knowedge, a smile and compassion.

    Visit was great from start to finish. Reception was friendly and knowledgeable, nurse was pleasant and efficient, and Dr Giblin was fantastic! Laid out a number of options with pros and cons.
