Dr. Cameron Nicholson is a board-certified pediatric hematologist and oncologist at Lee Health’s Golisano Children’s Cancer Institute. He provides comprehensive, compassionate care to children, adolescents, and young adults facing complex hematologic conditions and pediatric cancers. Dr. Nicholson’s clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of leukemia and lymphoma, brain tumors, soft tissue and solid tumors, bone marrow failure syndromes, and congenital immune deficiencies. He also specializes in managing hematologic disorders such as sickle cell disease, hemophilia, clotting disorders, and other inherited or acquired bleeding conditions. He earned his medical degree from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio. He completed his pediatric residency at Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at the same institution. Dr. Nicholson holds dual board certifications in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hematology-Oncology. With a patient- and family-centered approach, Dr. Nicholson is committed to providing individualized treatment plans that integrate advanced therapies, clinical research, and holistic support. His work helps children and their families navigate some of the most challenging moments in their lives with clarity, trust, and expert care.
