Caysie Payne, FNP-C, chose to pursue a career in cardiology because it is intellectually challenging and allows her to make a profound clinical impact. She feels as though having the opportunity to practice medicine in a field that requires extensive knowledge, technology, research, and intervention is a privilege. She looks forward to making a significant impact in her patients’ lives through guideline directed medical therapy and positive patient and family interactions.
