Biography

Christopher Kauffman, MD, is a hospital-based consultation-liaison psychiatrist. His clinical interests include emergency psychiatry, neuropsychiatry, and psychosomatic medicine. Dr. Kauffman earned his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency training at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center – Payne Whitney Clinic in New York City, followed by fellowship training in neuropsychiatry at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. Dr. Kauffman is board-certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and provides clinical services in both English and Spanish.
