Biography

Former Chief of Pediatric Ear, Nose and Throat at the University of Minnesota (1995-2017) and Vice Chief / Program Director of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center - Los Angeles (2018-2021). Over 60 publications and 11 book chapters on pediatric Ear, Nose and Throat disorders. Early work on pediatric cochlear implantation and developed methods for office placement of PE tubes in young children.

    Heidi, Valerie and Kiersten have been very attentive any time we had an issue or need. Their office seems to have a great system for communicating between patients, nurses, and Dr. Rimell -- especially while experiencing complications post-op. Dr Rimell also s eems to take great pride and care in his work. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and prioritizes the needs of his patients. They always made a way to see us when we needed to be seen. We rest easy knowing our son has such a great team of smart and caring medical professionals.

    Dr. Rimell was very helpful and gentle with my baby and explained everything well. The MA's Lindsay and Kirsten was so sweet and kind to my family. Great office and staff. Thank you Dr. Rimell and MA for all you do.

    Dr. Rimell acknowledges that a parent's intuition, particularly in the case of a medically-complex child, has value. He also explains the pros and cons of decisions to be made, and involves the parent in those decisions. I feel the care he provides my child ta kes into consideration multiple systems and experiences beyond just his specialty. Dr. Rimell is an excellent physician, and we are fortunate to be in his care.

    I was satisfied with the overall experience as I was late due to being lost and couldn't find the office but I was still seen and I appreciate that. Additionally the lady at the front desk(the new one) was very professional and helpful.

    Everyone was great. My son is active, impulsive and has [ ] in the doctors offices. They made him comfortable and the interaction with him kept him calm. Would highly recommend.

    I was so pleasantly shocked by how quickly the appointment moved. I was expecting a long wait time due to being seen in the afternoon at a bigger facility like that. I was scheduled for 3:30 with an arrival time of 3:15. I was immediately taken to a desk for a few minutes of paperwork. I was directed to the far end of the waiting room. By the time I grabbed the clipboard and started walking, there was already a nurse at the door waiting for us. We were in the room for maybe 2-3 minutes before we were seen by the doctor. It was a quick, easy appointment. The doctor knew we didn't need a follow up appointment and told us that honestly which is so rare these days. So many doctors squeeze unnecessary appointments out of you. I loved every moment of my experience in this office. Kudos to Dr. Rimmell and staff.

    Adrian has had many areas of concern in his short life, but Dr. Rimell is the only non-surgical specialist who has always left us feeling that the medical visit was truly worthwhile and money well spent. His assistant Heidi is spectacularly organized in coordi nating care.
