Dr. Gabriela Aviles is a board-certified family medicine physician dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to patients across all stages of life. Her clinical interests include chronic disease management, lifestyle medicine, women’s health, weight management, joint injections, skin biopsies, and contraceptive care including IUD and Nexplanon placement. Born and raised in Florida, Dr. Aviles is passionate about serving the community she calls home. She values the unique opportunity family medicine offers to build lasting relationships with patients and guide them toward long-term wellness. Dr. Aviles is especially committed to educating her patients on preventive care and empowering them to make sustainable lifestyle changes that improve their overall health and quality of life. Dr. Aviles earned her medical degree and Master of Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans. She completed her residency at the Florida State University Family Medicine Residency Program at Lee Health and went on to complete a Global Health Fellowship through the FSU College of Medicine. Her training reflects a commitment to both clinical excellence and population health, equipping her with a broad and holistic view of patient care. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Aviles provides inclusive, accessible care to a diverse patient population. She is a valued member of the Lee Health team, known for her patient-centered approach, thoughtful communication, and dedication to improving the well-being of families throughout Southwest Florida.
