Dustin Begosh-Mayne, MD

Dustin Begosh-Mayne, MD, was inspired to become a physician because of his younger brother. His brother was diagnosed with autism as a teenager, which sparked Dr. Begosh-Mayne's fascination with medicine. He chose internal medicine because he loved the mix of diagnostic challenges and the close relationships formed with patients.

Dr. Begosh-Mayne is passionate about internal medicine because he gets to treat the whole patient, not just the disease or disease process. Forming close relationships with patients is important to him. 

Dustin is a Cape Coral native and loves the area. He moved back here as soon as he finished his residency. Starting a residency here in his hometown has been a dream come true for him. 

Dr. Begosh-Mayne has a particular interest in cardiometabolic disease and obesity medicine.
