Dr. Javier Echevarría-Cruz is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician devoted to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care at Lee Health. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he brings a culturally sensitive and inclusive approach to his practice, ensuring every patient feels seen, heard, and valued. Dr. Echevarría-Cruz earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Health Science in Saint Kitts and Nevis and completed his residency at Hospital Episcopal San Lucas in Ponce, Puerto Rico. His training instilled in him not only strong clinical skills but also a deep understanding of the importance of community-focused care. As a proud member of the Lee Health team, Dr. Echevarría-Cruz is passionate about serving the diverse population of Southwest Florida.
