Dr. Lee grew up in an Air Force family that eventually settled in Miami, Florida.

During his urology training at the University of Miami he developed a passion for men's health. This led him to pursue sub specialty training with a fellowship in male infertility and sexual medicine at the University of North Carolina.

He enjoys not only treating male urological conditions but also promoting general health and wellness.

Meet the Doctor

Hi my name is John Lee I’m a urologist with a position group and I’m from Miami Florida. I joined Lee Health in the summer of 2021. I chose to come to Lee Health because I recognize that there is excellent collaboration amongst positions within the group I’m not only in the urology practice, but another specialties throughout Lee Health, and that combine with the resources that Lee Health provides I knew that would be an opportunity to provide world class clear to the people in Lee County. I chose urology for many reasons, but a few of them stand out. as a surgical specialty there’s a lot of variety in it we operate on the kidneys the genitals the bladder is they’re all different areas and the operations are very different. We use endoscopes. We use the robots more than the surgical specialty so there’s a lot of variety they keep things interesting and fun there’s also a lot of variety in what we treat. we treat a lot of conditions medically not just surgically. we treated with medication‘s and a lifestyle management as well. so the great variety is what drew me to the specialty, I also like that we treat a lot of quality of life issues. I treat a lot of erectile disfunction, urination issues. We also treat many serious condition, such as cancers, and that variety and those sensitive issues, and Conditions really drew me to urology. Outside of work I’m a dad. I have two young boys so I spend a lot of time with them. I grew up in Florida and I’ve been on the water since I was a young child so we do a lot of boating fishing sailing. What drew me to this coast was the coastal waters around here that are beautiful so we spend most of our time outside. Try to get on the water as much as possible and spend time with family.
