As we continue on the path to recovery following Hurricane Ian, here are some important updates. The Lee Health Primary/Walk-In Care – Sanibel location is offering limited hours and has temporarily moved its services from this location to the LPG Family/Internal Medicine - Bass Road office. Sanibel Primary/Walk-In Care will be open Saturdays from 9am- 1 p.m. and Wednesdays from 1pm- 6 pm. Patients can make appointments with this physician at both locations at (239) 343-6990.

    Dr Schmidt has been the only doctor that I felt truly listened and cared about my concerns. I never feel rushed like I am just a number or he needs to get to his next appointment. He's personable and I have even started having other family members go to him.

    The entire staff and doctors at Lee Physician Group are welcoming, knowledgeable and do not rush the patient. They listen, research and then discuss options for condition I have been going to this clinic in Fort Myers now for over 4 years and enjoyed the mergi ng of doctors. When one doctor is not available, you can count on being able to see the other. The nurses, including Mary, make you feel like you have known her forever. You feel comfortable and not judged no matter what your questions are.

    Excellent experience. I had interaction with the receptionist, the MA and Dr. Schmidt. All of them were very attentive, helpful and caring and never displaying any of their own personal bad experiences with the hurricane Ian that we all went through. It was a wonderful experience and a very caring staff..
