Biography

Dr. Rivers is passionate about family medicine because it allows her to get to know her patients and have the opportunity to care for the whole family. She enjoys educating patients on healthy lifestyle modifications and chronic disease management. Having grown up in Fort Myers, she is grateful to give back to the community.

In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, spending time with her family, taking her daughters out on the water, and baking sweets.

    Dr.Michelle Rivers is my physitian and i am very happy with her. She is very professional, attentive, gives enough time to listen to the patient and anwer all questions. She is very patient and respectful. She is the Best!

    Dr. Rivers dealt with me on the day I was released from the hospital thru a phone visit. She was able to correct a mistaken [ ] made on my [ ]. Then,, she saw me as a post [ ] follow- up. She had familiarized herself with my long term and recent [ ]. Since I a m a snowbird, I am sure this is more challenging. She addressed all of my concerns following my [ ] recurrence and [ ] that landed me in the hospital last week. She also reviewed my recent health history. She helped me figure out how to share my recent health history with my doctor back in NY. She was exceptionally kind, patient and very knowledgeable.

    Michelle Rivers is the best physician I've ever had and I've had many in my 66 years. She is so friendly and approachable. She sits beside you and looks you in the eyes, instead of working at a computer with her back toward you. She makes a visit to the doctor a pleasant experience, no matter what medical problem you have. Please stay in Ft Myers, Dr Rivers!!
