Biography
Natalie Williams, APRN, brings a wealth of experience in pediatric neurology to Lee Health, where she specializes in the management of a broad range of neurological conditions in children. With clinical interests that include general pediatric neurology, epilepsy management, seizure disorders, headache disorders, concussions, tic disorders, cerebral palsy, developmental delays, and ADHD, Natalie is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. Her work is particularly focused on complex conditions such as epilepsy and the use of vagal nerve stimulation to improve quality of life for children with neurological disorders. Natalie earned her Master of Nursing Science degree from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky, where she practiced as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with a pediatric neurology group for seven years before relocating to Fort Myers in 2022. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Natalie completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at Spalding University and worked as a registered nurse at the University of Louisville Hospital. Here, she gained extensive experience in the Neuro Intensive Care Unit, one of the few trauma centers in Kentucky, and worked across various intensive care settings. In addition to her clinical training, Natalie has held various healthcare roles, including Emergency Medical Technician, DEXA technician, medical scribe, and medical assistant, all of which have enhanced her diverse skill set and understanding of patient care. Her early academic pursuits included earning a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from DePauw University and a Master of Science in Stable Isotope Hydrogeochemistry from Western Michigan University, where her research skills further informed her clinical approach. Natalie is a dedicated member of the Child Neurology Society, American Epilepsy Society, American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Her multidisciplinary background, passion for pediatric neurology, and commitment to advancing the field make her a valuable asset to Lee Health and the families she serves.
