Biography

As a child and adolescent, Dr. Nelsi Mora attended, participated in, and served in healthcare community outreach programs throughout Southwest Florida. These experiences positively impacted her life trajectory and calling to become an OB-GYN with service to culturally diverse communities.

Obstetrics and Gynecology uniquely allows for the education and empowerment of patients through reproductive health. Dr. Mora values the distinctive experience of being an OB-GYN and caring for patients as an outpatient clinical provider, a delivering obstetrician, and a surgical specialist.

Dr. Mora was born at Lee Health and raised in Southwest. She values the unique opportunity to return and serve as an OB-GYN in this healthcare system and the community.

Dr. Mora was the recipient of the United States Air Force Health Professions Scholarship Program. As a Major in the United States Air Force from 2019 – 2023, Dr. Mora served as an OB-GYN providing clinical and surgical care to Active Duty Service Members and their families. During her Active Duty service, she was stationed at both Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA, and Joint Base Andrews, MD.

    I'm a new patient and I called with an immediate problem and was given an appointment for [ ]. Dr Mora immediately saw the appt I was given, and she then instructed her staff to call me back and make room for me right away. I cannot explain the relief I felt, Dr. Mora was absolutely wonderful even though she knew she had to rush to [ ]. Her staff is equally efficient and very professional and personable.
