Dr. Sarah Romero Rodriguez is a licensed clinical psychologist with advanced expertise in perinatal and infant mental health, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Dr. Romero Rodriguez brings a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach to her clinical work, ensuring patients feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their care journey. She earned her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Carlos Albizu University and completed a specialized fellowship in Infant-Family Mental Health at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Dr. Romero Rodriguez holds certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMHC) and advanced training in Infant-Family Mental Health (IFMH), Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and trauma-focused modalities. Her clinical interests center on the intersection of mental health and women’s health, with a focus on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), birth trauma, parenting challenges, grief, and psychological responses to medical concerns.
