Biography

An academic and clinical leader, Dr. Thomas Hunt is the Vice President & Chief Physician Executive for Musculoskeletal Services at Lee Health. He is an internationally renowned sports hand, wrist, and forearm surgeon who has served as a team physician and consultant for numerous colleges and professional sports organizations nationwide. Dr. Hunt is a senior advisor to the NFL and its Musculoskeletal Committee, a designated second opinion physician for the NBA and NBA player's association, and a member of the Titleist Performance Institute's Medical Advisory Board.

Whether treating an elite athlete with a wrist dislocation, an avid golfer with thumb arthritis, or a violinist with Dupuytren's disease, Dr. Hunt and his team are passionate about keeping patients active in their lives. They focus on providing individualized and patient-centered orthopedic care, resulting in a rapid, predictable, and effective return to even the highest-level of activity.
