Biography

Tyler Kabes, MD, was inspired to become a doctor because of the influence of his mother, who worked as a nurse in rural Minnesota.
He found certainty and a passion for healthcare while on mission trips in Kansas and Haiti. 

The unique and special part of working in pain management is being able to transition a person from debilitating pain, to sincere joy. Watching a patient come back with a smile after having an injection or starting a new medication is extremely rewarding to Dr. Kabe.

    Great controls, feedback and serious discussions over the years with Dr Kabes. Long term plans to slowly raise, lower and switch opioids on year+ long cycles. Uses all effective and affordable available methods together. Uses low dose opioids, all alternate pa in management such as diflunec, pregablin, tens unit occasionally, steroid injections 3-4 times a year near C5-C7 neck/spinal cord, simple physical therapy on neck, anxiety reduction, cold/hot therapy every few hours each day, long term weight loss and increasing sleep to 8 hours plus a night.

    Quiet efficiency and courtesy of staff. Dr. Kabes is always prompt with a warm smile and greeting. Either ann incredible [ ] about my well being, since last visit. comments about my job, etc. Very personable but down to business at hand.     I will always say that his care team and Dr. Tyler himself or excellent as far as my overall view and the care for me from day one he’s always been extremely straightforward, honest helpful being able to listen and our conversations have been where they connec t.
