Biography

Vinaitheertha Jeyabarath, MD, is the youngest in a large family with many physicians. Dr. Jeyabarath chose to become a cardiologist early in medical school as he was fascinated by the auscultatory and clinical findings of cardiac pathology.

Every patient's problem is unique, and Dr. Jeyabarath believes a comprehensive evaluation starting by listening to the patient's history helps him to provide tailored care for each of them. 

Dr. Jeyabarath loves the Southwest Florida area. We're home to a one-of-a-kind music program that a neurodivergent adult son is a part of. He likes being part of a system that provides excellent health care to the people in our community.

    When you first come into the office, the receptionist all had smiles so friendly and Dr. Jeyabarath is probably the best doctor we’ve ever had.     The whole experience was 100% positive!!! Dr Jeyabarath was kind, social and knowledgeable. Christine is amazing, so helpful and professional!! The entire check in upon our arrival at Coconut Point, to greeting the cardiac office staff, the MA and the time wit h Dr J , and check out was well organized and a positive experience.

    Both Dr. Jeyabarath and his nurse were very caring and patient with me. I was very nervous; unfortunately I always am when I go for a dr's visit, but Dr. J was caring and listened to me….told me everyone is different, nothing wrong with having to cry…keep in m ind it’s temporary and tomorrow could be a great day. I’m working hard on trying to improve this with the help of a psychiatrist. This whole event just truly added a great deal of stress to me and something I never expected to happen to me!
