Coming to the US, from Haiti, at 19 years of age, not speaking the language too well, becoming a doctor was a distant dream to achieve, given all he needed to achieve first. At that time, trying to assimilate to a new country and culture, as well as helping his family as much as possible, was the first and foremost thing on his mind. After working for about 5 years, he was able to begin his journey to becoming a doctor. While working full time, he succeeded in his undergrad studies, as well as in medical school.
A decade later, there is nothing more I would rather do than taking care of my patients with their various medical conditions and help them through their journeys of achieving health success. It always brings smiles to my face to see patients achieve their goals they initially set for themselves. Looking forward for the next 10 years for more of the same experience. Dr. Mondesir is fluent in Haitian Creole and English.
In his spare time, he loves watching, and attending basketball, football, and soccer games, as well as going to various family events, especially if something is being celebrated. With an active lifestyle, he does enjoy catching up on some ZZ’s, during the weekend whenever possible.
