Lee Health offers residency programs in pharmacy, family medicine and nursing. Browse the information below to learn more about becoming a resident at Lee Health in Southwest Florida.

Pharmacy Residency Program

The Lee Health Post Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) pharmacy practice residency builds on Pharm.D. education and outcomes. This Pharmacy Residency program contributes to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions. This PGY1 program also pertains to residency who are eligible for board certification and PGY2 residency training.

Family Medicine Residency Program (Partnership with Florida State University Medical School)

The Family Medicine Residency Program at Lee Health is sponsored by The Florida State University (FSU) College of Medicine.

Lee Health is a designated site for rotations for medical students from The Florida State University College of Medicine. These medical students will be integrated into our clinical rotations, and this will enhance our residents’ development as teachers and ambassadors of family medicine.

Nurse Residency Program

The Lee Health Nurse Residency Program is an evidence-based nurse residency program for newly licensed nurses, nurses wishing to change specialties, and nurses returning to acute-care after an extended leave. Nurses hired into the Nurse Residency Program will receive vital support, education, professional development and mentoring.

The Lee Health Physical Therapy Orthopaedic Residency Program is a great opportunity for physical therapists to advance their knowledge and develop their clinical skills in the area of orthpaedic physical therapy. The residency program is designed to prepare residents as orthopaedic clinical specialists committed to enhancing the quality of patient care and improving the life and mobility of individuals in the community.
