Reasons why exceptional physicians like working at Lee

  • Physician-led healthcare system with a dyad partnership leadership model
  • EPIC available for both inpatient & outpatient services for collaboration and continuity of care
  • DiverseLee initiatives implemented that puts diversity and inclusion into practice
  • Lee Health provided more than $69 million in charity care in 2020

  • Physicians are employed through Lee Physician Group which is our employed physician services division
  • The hospitals roll up under a separate leadership and a different entity that is still part of the Lee Health umbrella
  • Lee Health has a physician friendly culture
    • They have a physician relations department that help get physicians rooted in the community and acclimated with other providers – For specialists, they take around and introduce to primary and they have dinners to introduce providers to each other
    • We have a dyad model where over each service line there is a physician dyad partner and an administrative dyad partner that are both on the same level
    • In the hospitals there is a triad model where there is a chief nursing office, chief medical officer and chief administrative officer that are all on the same level and work together through a partnership.
  • The hospital leadership and Lee Physician Group leadership all work together to support the physician but LPG focuses on outpatient practice management and the hospitals are the experts for the inpatient side.
