- Sending messages to your doctor’s office
- Reviewing and requesting appointments
- Managing healthcare for your loved ones
When to Use: If you’d like to connect with a physician for a non-scheduled urgent care visit, use Lee TeleHealth. This 24/7 service does not require an appointment and is a perfect way to talk to an expert in light of COVID-19 concerns. Use Lee TeleHealth for:
- Cold, flu, headaches, stomach aches, allergies and sore throats
- Certain injuries that are not emergencies
- If you don’t have a primary care doctor or can’t get an appointment
- If you have transportation issues
Remember: You should use TeleHealth in place of an urgent care visit. You do not need an appointment, and you can log on anytime, day or night. You should use MyChart for a scheduled appointment in place of an in-person visit with your primary care doctor for general medical issues and discussion.
NOTE: Lee Health emergency rooms are safe, secure and still accepting patients. If you have a medical emergency—heart attack, stroke, severe injury or pain, or trouble breathing—please do not use MyChart or Lee TeleHealth. Call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room.
Lee Health also provides telemedicine services in our hospitals. This allows patients to visit with specialists from all over the system to increase timely and effective care.
