Where did the name Cookie's Place originate from?
Cookie’s Place Boutique is named after Cookie Needle. Cookie was a make-up artist in Hollywood when she was diagnosed with cancer and given six months to live. Rather than dwelling on death she embraced life and encouraged others to do the same. When her trademark red hair started falling out during treatment, she was able to get a flattering wig that made her feel like herself again, and was inspired to help others do the same. She was instrumental in opening Magic Choices Boutique, which is now known as Cookie’s Place Boutique in remembrance of her determination and generous spirit.
