IBM Watson Award

IBM Watson Ranking

Why does Health Park Hospital’s IBM Watson Ranking in the top 50 Cardiovascular hospitals in the nation matter to you?

If you are a patient admitted to our Hospital with an acute cardiac need, you are:

1.    Almost twice as likely to survive the event

2.    More likely to be alive after a coronary bypass operation

3.    Four times less likely to be sustain a complication, less likely to be re-admitted to the hospital, and more likely to leave the hospital sooner;

…than if you had gone to a non-ranked hospital.

The IBM Watson ranking is designed to recognize efficiencies and quality within healthcare organizations reflective of the collaborative actions taken by administrators, doctors, nurses, and numerous other allied personnel.  Their objective analysis originates from nationally reported public data to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid services, MEDPAR, and Medicare cost reports.

Our ranking at Health Park Hospital as a top 50 program in the United States, for four consecutive years, has not ever been achieved by any other hospital in the State of Florida.

This recognition serves as a barometer of the effectiveness of our teams in providing you a safe and effective healing environment, created through collaboration, and that stands for the benefit of our community and our patients.
