Where can I get my child vaccinated?

Lee Health has convenient options for parents to get their children age 5+ vaccinated at Lee Health. Currently the vaccine is being offered at all Lee Health Pediatric Infectious Disease offices, certain Lee Physician Group Pediatric offices and via Golisano Children’s Hospital’s Mobile Pediatric Vaccination Clinic.

Mobile Vaccination Clinic

Golisano Children’s Hospital’s Mobile Pediatric Vaccination Clinic is specifically tailored to create a comfortable environment for children to receive their COVID-19 vaccine. The clinic is walk-up only, and there is no cost for the vaccine. For more information about the mobile clinic and for a schedule of times and locations, please click here. The Mobile Vaccination Clinic is open to the general public and you don’t have to be an established LPG patient.

Pediatric Vaccine Safety Information

  • The Pfizer-Bi COVID-19 vaccine has been approved for children age 5+.
  • The vaccine for children age 5-11 is the same as the adult vaccine (12+) but comes in a smaller dose.
  • Please click here for more information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the pediatric COVID-19 vaccine

Parents of eligible children should get their children vaccinated right away. The vaccine, previously approved for children age 12-17, has proven to keep kids safe and out of the hospital. It also helps prevent spreading the coronavirus to older and more-at risk family members, and protects children from long-term complications of COVID-19 like multisystem inflammatory syndrome.
