  • The governing body of the Lee County Trauma Services District is composed of the members of the Board of Directors of the Lee Health.

The Board of Directors consists of ten (10) members who are elected on a nonpartisan basis by vote of the electorate of Lee County at large.

The Speical District operates without any local tax support or taxing authority. Revenue generated from Trauma District and Lee Health services fund day-to-day operations of the special district.
