Back to School Physicals

Lee Health convenient care is excited to offer back-to-school physicals without an appointment. Annual physicals have become part of the school routine, and all children benefit from the exam. A physical gives children an opportunity to ask important questions, and it helps parents keep up with their child’s health issues. So bring your child to your nearest convenient care

When patients need to see a physician that day, and a primary care doctor is not available, walk-in care is often the best answer. Rather than going to an already overburdened emergency room and usually waiting for hours on end, urgent care is a convenient, less costly, alternative for care of non-emergency illnesses and injuries. Our talented and caring doctors and nurses bring a unique skill set to best meet the needs of patients when uplanned accidents and illnesses arise. At Convenient Care, helping you feel better is what matters most.

Back-to-school physicals will check:

  • Height and weight
  • Vital signs
  • Blood pressure
  • Ears and throat
  • Heart rate, lung function, abdominal health
  • Musculoskeletal issues
  • Eating and sleeping habits
  • Allergies, skin issues, diet, and general nutrition

Physicals help children establish a good relationship with a physician so they feel comfortable talking about other issues such as personal lives, family, and school issues. Physicians track progress, record risk factors, and learn more about how to monitor each child to keep them healthy and safe!
